As we've been developing the game

  • As per Insider Gaming, "this is Diablo IV Gold continuing to be the case, with over 100 journalists being given the chance to experience a behind-the-scenes presentation as well as getting the opportunity to play the game. It is believed that the embargo for the event and the hands-on experience will be lifted on the 7th of December.

"During the event, Rod Fergusson invited all of the attendees to watch The Game Awards as they'll be [making] some announcements." Blizzard have confirmed Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely be waiting until post-launch to be able to use them in the game.

The game's director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable conversation that reimagining sets in a way that fits Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be feasible for the launch of Diablo 4 in the first quarter of next year, even though the team is contemplating including them as part of its live service.

"As we've been developing the game, we thought like we could evolve sets in a novel method that was different from what we've seen during Diablo 3. We just needed more time to get sets in the game in a way that would work well with other elements of Diablo 4, so you won't be seeing sets when you first start in the game," Shely explains. "We consider sets to be very cool and want to be sure that they're done right - therefore we're looking over for our Live service."

"There's a staff legend in the demo which turns the spell's fireball spell into cheap Diablo 4 Gold the triple fireball spell" former director of the game Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in the year 2019.
